Walker's Inauguration Rants

It is a chilly down outside, (its January in D.C. I know) but things seem just a little bit warmer thanks to all the crowds here in our nation’s capital. Some may say the millions have gathered to witness the inauguration of President Barak Obama, but I know the truth. The masses have assembled to witness the latest edition of Walker’s Rants, and I am here to give the people what they want.

It is great to see that the ACC has reclaimed itself as the greatest conference in college basketball today…

Kurt Warner is playing the best football of his career right now. He had a nearly perfect day in shredding the Eagles defense. Very impressive…

The hit that Willis McGahee took one Sunday was something of beauty…

If you thought the 2008 college football season was good, just wait till you see what 09 has in store. All that talent coming back to so many different teams, it will be something amazing…

The Pittsburgh Steelers are a very good football team, but they are not a lock to win the Super Bowl, there are still a lot of flaws within their game…

I can’t believe that Speed Week is right around the corner, and there are still plenty of questions left for so many teams in regards to funding…

Ray Lewis to the Dallas Cowboys. I love that prospect…

When did tennis season start back up? I completely missed that one…

I have a good feeling that the Anquan Boldin situation will be long gone before we hit the Super Bowl, but I will put the over under at about 500 questions in reference to the question in the first day of media week…

Donovan McNabb is not to blame for the Eagles losing another NFC Championship…

After Sunday’s lost, Donovan McNabb needs to make his way out of Philadelphia and go somewhere where he is appreciated…

How big is Edgerrin James’ contract going to be next year when he leaves Arizona?

Was the Jets hiring of Rex Ryan the worst kept secret in football this year?

Lance Armstrong is seriously on the comeback trail? Part of me wants to cheer for him but I cannot help but be extremely cynical about this whole operation…

Pete Carroll was out of line with his treatment of Mark Sanchez. Yes he is right Sanchez is not ready to play in the NFL but once he makes the choice Carroll should throw his support behind him and wish him well, not be a brat…

Could Rick Pitino be reading his boys for a big run in the Big East, not a bad week they put together…?

Who actually watched the MLS draft? And if you did watch it did you actually know any of the people who were drafted…

The Boston Celtics are old they are going to hit slumps during the season, but come the post season they will be just fine…

I love that someone signed Miles and sent a big F’U to the Portland Trailblazers. The Trailblazers are getting too good and they need to be knocked down…
