Kobe Bryant in Call of Duty Black Ops Commercial

Okay so this commercial surfaced a few weeks ago, and to be honest I didn't think much of it at the time, but of course the hand wringers got a hold of it and all of that changed. Kobe Bryant made a guest appearance in a commercial for the video game Call of Duty Black Ops, and now many are up in arms over the spot citing the games violent material.

During the few seconds Bryant is in the commercial he can be seen firing a massive assault rifle and taking out an armored car. For what it's worth Kobe is also rocking a Nike shirt so maybe they are proponents of violence as well.

For what it's worth, this whole thing is the biggest joke going today. Call of Duty is a long running video game series that is rated MA Mature. This means the game is meant for adults, not the small impressionable children who watch violent television shows and then go crazy. Oh wait, that's not how it works. A video game does not turn a kid into a killing machine. Kobe Bryant appearing in a commercial definitely doesn't add to that.

This entire thing is absurd.
