College Football Pick'em Week 12 Recap

Thanks to a little bit of trickery, we actually ended up with a good week in this week's College Football Pick'em. Michigan looked bad, but they covered for a big play. The complete lack of defense in the PAC 10 also helped out as well. All in all, it was a decent week for Walker Sports College Football Pick'em.

Ohio State 21 vs. Michigan 10:
Obviously the season was a complete lost for the Michigan Wolverines. But gambling will make you look at things in a different light. For us degenerate gamblers, this season was not a complete wash. The spread on "The Big Game" was 12 points, and somehow the Wolverines held on keep the Buckeyes within that margin. Well done Michigan, now remember how to actually win games outright.

Oregon 44 vs. Arizona 41:
This game was a shoot out, and a fun one to watch. The good thing about PAC 10 football there is always plenty of offense to go around. Arizona was an average team entering this game and as a result they were a 6 point dog. Nonetheless the Wildcats gave the Oregon Ducks held. We missed out on this one since Oregon failed to cover the spread. However, I was dead on when I told you to take the over there was plenty of offense to go around.

Cal 34 vs. Stanford 28:
There's no other way to put this other than I blew it. Cal had a lot more in the tank than I anticipated. I guess some programs still get hyped up for rivalry week. The Bears held strong and won outright and blew away the 7.5 spread.

Ole Miss 25 vs. LSU 23: This game was another surprise. Ole Miss showed a lot of heart and kept everything close. This game will be remembered for the Les Miles call and failing to get the field goal unit onto the field. From a gambling perspective, that field goal would have had no affect on the 4 point spread.
