Gilbert Arenas Out Til December

Washington Wizards point guard Gilbert Arenas has confirmed to the Washington Post, that he has in fact had an operation to repair his left knee. This is the same knee that kept Arenas out of action for the majority of last season.

Arenas told the paper he had a simple procedure on the knee to remove some objects that were bothering him and slowing his rehab process. According to Gilbert he will be healthy and ready to play again in early December.

Even i
f this was a simple procedure, the Washington Wizards have to have some concern over this operation. The Wizards signed Arenas to a 6 year $111 million dollar contract. This means their long term future is locked up in Gilbert Arenas and if he is breaking down already, then the Washington Wizards as an organization could be in trouble.
